About the Place Ltd. supports "places" and the groups and individuals that have an affinity with them.  To use jargon, we are "place shapers"...

By "place" we mean anything from a garden, youth venue or village hall, a shop, a business or a training centre, through to complex neighbourhoods, villages, towns and cities.  Our experience ranges from working with individuals and local groups right up to a full range of stakeholders in a regional town or city.

We believe that we are fairly unique in our approach (what we do).  We have taken some established ways of working and looked at how these could be more accessible, affordable and efficient. 

We can structure the most abstract of project ideas, create realistic delivery plans, support you in your search for funding and develop a competitive grant application on your behalf.  We believe every place matters and have a range of options to support your partnership, membership organisation or voluntary group. We are always looking for new challenges, new locations and new long-term partners. 

About the Place Ltd. strongly believes that grant funding can play an important role in developing ideas and supporting initiatives in their early stages.  Therefore, we have integrated this area of expertise into all areas of our work.  Grant funding must always be released in a realistic and timely fashion to those for whom it is intended.  We work hard to identify funds and potential recipients.
